Three Celebrations - Giveaways!

Some things achieved, some procrastinations, some broken promises and a change of mind! Still, I had a lovely weekend - the best thing was when I asked the Littlies if Nanny was 'fat', 'just normal' or 'skinny' - they both said in chorus - 'just normal' ... you don't get any better than that! Mmmm - Nanny is a bit fat really, but trying to do something about it!

Also, yesterday Mildred talked about the hymn-song 'Jesus Loves the Little Children' - so we spent some fun time learning that while I stitched! They do learn it at school, but it was much easier being taught without distraction!

I'm going to kill three birds with one stone - it is my birthday on Wednesday, Blogaversary on 8 April and this is my Post 187 !!!

What I would like to do is offer the Runner above and the Dilly Bag below as gifts! Whoever is the Winner can have first choice and then the second I will give to one of my PIF'ers!

The runner is 34" x 21" and looking quite pretty - the Prairie points sat beautifully for me! The dilly bag is my favourite dilly bag (I will make another one!) and with it I have included 10 reels of fine grade Presencia cotton thread in a lovely selection of colours!

Below - I did finish this little birdie in a nest from the pattern by Melly & Me - oh, I just love it - a little fiddly to make - I will be making more though! The nest should have had a couple of more crochet rounds, but I like it like it just like that - the kids love it, too! The Littlies couldn't keep their grotty little hands off it!

Lindi from Quilty threads... passed this award on to me - I don't particularly 'do' awards, but feel really happy to have received this award and shall show it with pride, thanks, Lindi! The 'Sisterhood' thing does it for me - I don't have a sister, you see, so nice to have that feeling of belonging! I don't like selecting Girls to award - you know who I am fond of, or if you are just lovely, please accept if if you wish!

Naughty Girl! I didn't get to the Post Office today - WAQA guild day tomorrow - so it will have to be Wednesday now! Also, I have changed my mind about the dolly quilt - will show you later in the week hopefully!
