Cozy Cuddle Rug!

Happy July 4 to all my friends in the USA - it has been lots of fun being in Blogland with you and forming new friendships! I have had four wonderful visits to your country - have thoroughly enjoyed every one of them and have lots and lots of very happy memories!
A finish, at last - cute and cuddly and will get better with time!
I did a little shopping yesterday - have never really been drawn to the colour Purple - have never disliked it, but for some strange reason have just not worked with it a great deal! Have a newly found liking for it - perhaps stimulated by dear friend Terri at purple and paisley - how could one not like purple now! That's a little bag I bought for a Christmas in July stocking-filler gift and also the box and tissue paper for another gift.
Must flit away - things to do - happy weekend!

Cute quilt. Love the fabrics in it. I live in Violet Township, school colors here are purple and white and purple and black, we have a violet festival each year...yeah, we're big on purple here. Luckily, I like purple!
Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for the 4th of July shout out!

I don't find a lot of purple fabrics. I would purchase some if I found some I liked.

I was mad about purple in my teens then went right off it ...... now I just love it with green (I never used to like green at all!!!) and have made a couple of quilts in this colourway. Funny isn't it how our tastes change.
Hugs,
Joy :o)

The quilt does look very cozy. Purple has never been one of my favorites either, except when I see it in a Halloween quilt. Isn't that strange?

Your little quilt is adorable!! We're spending a quiet 4th at home with a little doggie who is terrified of fireworks!! We have to tranquilize the poor thing!!

Your rug looks so cute and comfy! I feel like that would be perfect to cuddle when I watch a movie or something. I too find purple to be difficult to deal with, but the purse you got is really cute!!!

What a cute quilt - it looks so cozy! I can identify with you about the color purple. It was only recently that I realised my stash lacked the color purple. I have since tried to use it more often.
