Little Fabric Baskets!

Oooh - a little chilly here this morning and we are well into spring!

Look at the cutest little fabric baskets - tutorial from the Pink Penguin! I have been looking at them on other girls' blogs and thought they may be too fiddly for me - well, they are really nifty and easy once you have done the first one. Thank you so much to the Pink Penguin!

I made four on Wednesday and took them along to show the girls at one of my sewing groups yesterday for Show and Tell - a lot of them are very enthusiastic about making them for Christmas gifts, so we are having a little sew-and-sew next Thursday. It will be interesting to see the little baskets created by a group - I will post a piccie!

DD, Angela, will be over after dropping the kids at school - she's a hairdresser, so time for a little trim and blow-dry, then I'm off to meet friends for a little retail therapy, then lunch. Guess where the retail therapy will happen!

Have a good weekend everyone!

Oh, Lurline, your little baskets are so cute!! Aren't you glad you decided to try them? I just love them. I'd like to try a little bigger one. I wonder how it would work? Maybe if I used some stabilizer to stiffen it up a little?

These little baskets are cute as can be, and thank you for sharing the link! I'm hung up on making totes lately, and these will be fun too.

These are really cute. I'm looking for an idea for my son's pre-school teachers for Christmas, these might be just the thing with a few goodies inside.

Very pretty! I just love these little baskets. I have two that were made by a friend and they are such handy little things. I have one full of chocolates sitting here by the computer.

I've had my eye on this tutorial for a few weeks now - I even put a shortcut on my desktop. Your baskets have turned out great. I hope to have at least one finished by the next time we meet. Hugs to you dear friend!
