A Quick Post!

Yesterday I had a fun day working on my new BOM! With all due respect to Sue Ross I have successfully machine pieced the block though hand piecing is recommended - so far, so good!

There are quite a few girls doing this project so if you would like to pop over to Sue Ross BOM,

I have posted on my progress so far and left a few helpful hints. Oh, or maybe you would just like to check it out and think about joining - of course Comments would be lovely!

Congratulations on conquering that block. I tried twice several years ago using two different techniques and failed on both.

What a beautiful block. You definitely like the challenges unlike someone I know (me). When I get my quantities done, maybe I'll try something a little trickier, but not so tricky as your beauty.

Lurline,
What a fantastic block- I thought perhaps you would be paper piecing it ( I haven't really looked carefully at it do perhaps that is part of your process) but it is a stunning block.
I have never hand pieced anything so being able to machine piece is wonderful.
I will look forward to seeing your progress.
Warmest regards,
Anna

Hi Lurline--i LOVE that block--but I fear I would probably have to do mine by hand--me and the machine dont always talk the same language and forget the curves on it!!!!!! Hugs, just, Di
