What an exciting magazine - that is Issue 938, 2009 - one of the best late night reads I have ever had! Congratulations to Deborah and all concerned!
Below, Big Blooms by Wendy Williams!
As you can see Kaffe Fanfare by Kathy Doughty!
Our very own Western Australian, Ruth de Vos!
Octagon Tiles, made by Lorraine Downey, who found inspiration for this quilt in The Patchworks of Lucy Boston by Diane Boston! I am quite smitten with this quilt and will certainly make sure the pattern is kept in a safe place for 'one day'!
Very sad and expensive, I haven't found my scissors and guess I won't now - to be on the safe side I have sent to the Scissorman who imports these little gems!

Here are the fabrics I have chosen for Sleep Baby Sleep, pattern by Christine - please pop over and visit her if you would like the pattern, she has it for sale! I have taken quite a different slant colourwise - hope it turns out nicely!

Lurline, Love the magazine! I want one. Have a great weekend and looking forward to checking out these scissors! Steph
I love Australian quilt designers. I am always inspired by the talents from "Down Under". Sorry to hear you still haven't found your scissors. What do you want to bet that once you purchase new ones, the missing pair will show up?

Such a neat magazine--pretty quilts and fabrics!!
It is great when we find a truly great pair of scissors--I have a brand that I love too--and when I recently had a little extra money--I did get a second pair--it is still on the card--it is for --if I lose the ones I am using--or if for some reason the start not doing their job well!!!

So many temptations to make! I do like the Octagon Tiles quilt. It would be a fun one to do fussy cutting. You sure took care of your scissors issue! I've heard great things about Kai scissors.
