Baby Twins Birthday Weekend!

Yes, our baby twins turn 5 next Monday and it is a long weekend here in Western Australia! The big party with their school friends is being held at the Fun Factory today at Mandurah around midday, so much excitement everywhere!

The Happy Bag above was a rushed project on Friday - turned out quite nicely - more about that later!

Thank you all very much for the opinions on Tyler's quilt - yes, it is going to be his - so my mind is made up, thank goodness! I'll add a couple of more borders and the golf ball fabric will be the backing - then into the quilting queue!

Looks like this little girl might become a family member - a ragdoll kitten, just 4 weeks old! Isn't she just the cutest? Another 4 weeks and looks like the baby twins will have a new playmate! If anyone likes to give advice on ragdolls, I would be happy to hear it - we haven't had one in the family before!
My DH is going with DD's family up to Seabird for the weekend - a lovely little cray-fishing village quite a way north of here - lucky me - I will be able to read until all hours of the night - am really looking forward to it!
Oh, the blue hexagons above - all together ready to be stuffed - hopefully another pin-cushion idea - will continue playing tonight!
Happy weekend everyone - hugs♥

Oh boy, Home Alone! We all need that. Happy Reading. Never heard of a ragdoll kitten. Is it different from other kittens? Great golf ball fabric.

Very practical looking bag. My hubby would love you quilt backing and that kitten is the cutest thing. I want to get our kids a kitten when they are a little older, all my research suggests rag dolls are a great breed. Thats what I hope to get. I've had persians before but I think the rag dolls have the nice nature and are fluffy without some of the medical problems persians can have.

What an absolutely adorable kitten!! Irresistible. We have two Maine Coons but had we not gone that route, I think we would have got Ragdolls. My cousin has one and absolutely loves it to bits. They're very cuddly affectionate cats from what I've been told.

Oh I have two ragdolls and he looks just like my Noodle did when he was little. That little brown nose will grow to cover his whole face like a racoon mask of dark yummy fur. Get used to having loads of fur everywhere and always brush them early so they are used to it...mine love it. They are handfuls and demand a lot of attention so I'd get 2 if you can or it might whine louder than the baby twins! But they are so sweet and great companions. Lots of tummy time they LOVE having it rubbed and scratched!

I love to make bags too, and that one is stunning! The hexagon is lovely too. It seems that we like doing the same things.
The ragdoll kitten was so cute!

The new bag looks great and roomy! And the little kitten...oh, so tiny and adorable. Does he or she have a name yet? Sending double happy birthday wishes to the twins.

what a lovely new addition! You will have to go and have a look at Lissa Jane's blog and ask her a question or two about her ragdoll, she is listed under fabricologist anonymous on my blogroll in my side bar.
