Yep, being silly, again! However, I feel I really do have a new eye as yesterday I had much needed laser surgery on a growth behind my right eye and everything is bigger and brighter to me - no blurriness at all - watch out when I get behind that wheel, now - I will give those boys in blue something to do!
Oh, this is all out of order - never mind! I have done it again - joined another swap - the Pincushion Summer Swap '09 - looks great - check out Quilt at Home with Sandra!
For all you repro fabric lovers - check out these beautiful fabrics I received from dear Kathie of Inspired by Vintage Quilts. Just beautiful, thanks so much Kathie - we like to do little swapsies
and I have my Tumbling Steps started and may even join Kathie and Janet of Quiltsalott are making the little basket quilt from When The Cold Wind Blows that I have on order.

See on my sidebar, Janet and I have a little sew-along going with Mrs. Perkins - I know others are going to join in - please email Janet or I if you intend to and I will add your name. This is not a formal thing, just a bit of fun and I am thinking we will have our own little zoo of giraffes!

Must dash - things to do - have a lovely day!

So very happy to hear the surgery was a success. Good for you!
Hi Lurline, congrat for your new saxier eye. It must like having a new life? Lovely retro fabrics. Will check it out when I have a moment.
How great to have improved vision! Thanks for doing the link for Mrs Perkins, do you need that pink fabric still? I'm doing a basket block a day, not a big commitment but the pile grows. I'm very tempted by the courhouse steps!
" All the better to see you with" as the saying goes..
I'm so happy for you Lurline, I know how much it meant to you to have it done...our eyes are so precious!

Glad to see the surgery improved your eyesight.
Just take it easy and don't do too much for a few days.
Love the fabrics.
Lurliine, so glad things worked out with your eye. Frightening. But we have to keep these eyes working - can't quilt without them! I had a detached retina a few years ago. I treat my eyes carefully.
Congrats on the eye operation. Don't give the men in blue too much trouble.
Glad things went well with the eye operation. Love the fabrics. I'm popping over to learn more about the swap.
hope everything continues to go well with your eye........
I'm tempted to join the pincushion swap, it looks like a good one. The basket applique blocks are going to be fun...another one I was thinking about.
Congratulations on your improved eyesight! I just got my e-copy of the Down Under Quilts newsletter - terrific article on your lovely work!
I too joined the pincushion swap. Anything with pincushions I can't resist.

Just saw your article in the online Down Under Quilts. Congratulations.
