A Relaxing Afternoon!

Wow, I am sort of up to date with commitments, beautiful and cool here with a touch of autumn in the air, so I am going to indulge myself this afternoon! I'm really good at that!

Above - I had a little play and made a hexagon pincushion - I can't truly claim it as my creation, as I'm sure I saw one somewhere? I used hexagon papers with 1" sides and fussy cut some pretty fabric - I think it quite a cute little swap addition!

At the weekend, I had a little retail therapy - bought a few more novelty fabrics and some ric-rac - can't find much around in cotton at all, but this should add a little fancy to some projects to come!

After I sew binding on a Comfort Quilt, I am going to do a little fine hand-quilting this afternoon - I do relax so much when I do it and I will muster up energy to get into the garden early tomorrow morning - it is crying out for help!

I have participated in Dolly Quilts Swaps 4 and 5 and now I am in on 6 - really looking forward to that! Never a dull moment!
Happy stitching everyone - take care - hugs♥

Your blog is always first rate. I love everything. So much fun to see what is going on with you. Fall in the air! Just thinking about that is fun to realize how weather is so opposite.

The applique is beautiful! Is it part of a quilt? or wallhanging? or what is it?
